Assassin Dirt Bikes Warranty (Excludes International)     All Items sold by Assassin Dirt Bikes come with different warranty periods, please read the product description of the item for the warranty. If your product is found to be either damaged or faulty on arrival please complete the Warranty/Claim form and submit the form to us within 7 days of receiving the product (with the appropriate attachments i.e. copy of the invoice and/or images of the product issue), please include a copy of the original invoice. Your warranty or claim will not be processed if no Invoice or proof of purchase can be produced. Once your form has been submitted please allow between 24-48 hours for a response to your claim. Once your form has been submitted you shall receive a Return Authorization number (RA#). The customer is responsible for cost of return shipping. Returns must be received by Assassin Dirt Bikes within 14 calendar days from the date the RA# is issued. Full manufacturer's warranties are supplied with merchandise purchased from Assassin Dirt Bikes.

The warranty DOES NOT cover damage caused by accident, improper care, negligence, normal wear and tear, or the natural breakdown of colours and material through time, exposure or extensive use.

If there are any issues or concerns please complete the warranty/claim form and include appropriate attachments (i.e. a copy of you receipt, a description of the warranty issue, as well as pictures of the problem)

Return/Exchange Policy      If you receive your item and it is the incorrect product, size or colour we will exchange or issue a refund on unworn, unused, and unwashed products within 14 days of the date of purchase. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment. For further clarification please complete the Warranty/Claim form.

If you did not receive items you were invoiced for or your package was damaged during shipping, you must complete the Warranty/Claim form and submit the form to us within 14 days of receiving the product (with the appropriate attachments i.e. images of the product), please include a copy of the original invoice. Your warranty or claim will not be processed if no Invoice or proof of purchase can be produced. Once your form has been submitted please allow between 24-48 hours for a response to your claim. Damaged items must be returned in the ORIGINAL packaging for the claim to be honoured. Once your form has been submitted you shall receive a Return Authorization number (RA#).

* Items must be sent back via registered post to ensure the item does not get lost upon its return delivery. Failure to use registered post will result in the cutomer being responsible for the parcel and no refund will be given if the parcel is lost in transport .

 

Restocking Fee

Products that are ordered in wrong sizes, wrong colours, or wrong year model - due to customer mistake. Buyer may be charged a 15% restocking fee based on value of products plus buyer will be responsible for all shipping and handling costs. Provided products are returned in 100% New and unused condition in their original packaging, a full product refund will be issued.

 

Return Procedure (Excludes International)  All items purchased from Assassin Dirt Bikes come with a Money Back Guarantee **, this includes original postage BUT NOT the return shipping costs. Once you have completed the warranty/claim form and have been advised to return your item, pack all items in a sturdy shipping carton (not just the manufacturer's carton). Include a copy of your invoice in the carton. Please keep the original invoice. Print the RA# on ALL 6 SIDES of the shipping carton. Packages without a visible RA# will not be accepted. The customer is responsible for cost of return shipping. Use the most convenient means of shipping (Must be registered). For products returned in accordance with this policy, a replacement product will be shipped within 14 calendar days from the date we receive the merchandise.

Item(s) must be 100% as per new and unused (15% restocking fee may apply if packing is damaged). The customer is responsible for cost of return shipping.

 

International Returns All International sales are non-refundable, we do not accept liability for lost or damaged items (Insurance options available - Request via email), we will assist clients as much as possible in an unlikely lost or damaged event.

What Is Covered?
  • Coverage period is determined by the product.

  • Unlimited mileage with in warranty period.

  • Free replacement for failures caused by defective parts or faulty workmanship.

  • Fuel system.

  • Exhaust.

  • Chassis.

  • Electrical.

  • Cooling system.

  • Engine.

  • Brakes.

  • Batteries.

  • Spark plugs.

 

What Is NOT Covered?

The owner of the product is responsible for adhering to the terms and conditions to keep the warranty from becoming void. Exclusions from most warranties include failures that are caused by:

  • Modification to original parts that directly causes a breakdown of other product components.

  • Failure to conduct scheduled maintenance as required by the owner's manual.

  • Installing parts that are not equivalent to the original manufacture's parts

  • Any neglect of the product caused by the owner.

  • Damage caused by an accident or collision.

  • Competition or racing.

  • Malfunction that result from environmental damage.

  • Damage which occurs as a result of improper storage and transportation.

  • Damage caused by the use of improper fuel or lubricants.

  • Damage caused by failure to maintain chain tension and lubrication

  • Damage caused by failure to tighten nuts and bolts prior to each ride

Labour to Repair or Replace parts

All warranty work on your product must be completed at our approved assassin service

Centre, all labour costs involved with repair or replacement parts is the responsibility of the customer unless pre-approved in, Updates and changes to the limited Warranty Terms and Conditions can occur at any time, Changes, updates will be

Effective immediately and retrospectively to all warranty participants. Including but not limited to service schedules in the owners

Manual of your product, the latest owner manual will be provided by the assassin sales representative or dealer.

Coverage and Limitations

1. You must commit to at least 1 ‘service & safety’ check per year also minimum service the product in line with the hours or KMs set out in the owner’s manual (whichever comes first), in addition to your first service and safety checks.

You are required to follow KAYOS log book servicing and keep log books for the life of your motorcycle.

The service and safety checks are at the purchasers cost.

2. You must be the original owner; no second-hand motorcycles are covered. The Warranty is not transferrable.

3. The Assassin service centre must perform all warranty work on your bike. Including “service and safety” checks NO exceptions.

4. You validate your warranty by paying the set price at Assassin and ongoing services as instructed.

5. Subject to the limitations stated in this agreement, Assassin agrees to replace a covered

Component if the covered component fails within the component stated warranty period from the date of purchase, while the component is being used under the conditions and in the manner specified by its original manufacturer.

Important Warranty Notes

THIS AGREEMENT IS PROVIDED TO THE ORIGINAL PURCHASER AND IS NON-TRANSFERABLE.

NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR AGREEMENTS: THERE ARE NO AGREEMENTS OR WARRANTIES, EXPRESSED OR IMPLIED

INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OTHER THAN THOSE STATED IN

THIS AGREEMENT. ASSASSIN SHALL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE PAYMENT OF DAMAGES, OTHER THAN THE SUMS SPECIFIED

IN THIS AGREEMENT AND LIMITED WARRANTY, FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL LOSS OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM INJURY,

LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF TIME, RENTAL VEHICLES, PROFITS, OR INCOME TO THE CUSTOMER AS A RESULT OF A FAILURE OF ANY

COMPONENT OR PART.

Freight

ALL FREIGHT CHARGES INCURRED ARE THE RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CUSTOMER.

 

No Other Agreement

There are no other agreements between the parties with regards to the products purchased except as stated in this agreement & limited warranty unless the following agreed warranty section has been completed and signed by an assassin representative.
